I was just informed that the MFA Hero program is back! The New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority just released its Hero program again which is for Teachers, Safety workers, Health care workers and active members of the United States Armed Forces. Main Perks:
- 30 year fixed FHA mortgage
- Higher borrow income limits than typical MFA standards
- Borrower does not have to be a first time home buyer
- Grant providing the 3.5% down payment so borrow doesnt have to come up with it
- borrow can get into a home for as little as $1,000
There are some income limits as to how much money the borrower can make and limits on how big of a loan can be obtained which are based on the county the home is being purchased in. Contact Michael Dunn for more info and to see how you might qualify!
